Matusadonha National Park , on the southern shores of the Lake Kariba, is one if the Zambezi Valley’s Wildlife and wilderness treasures. Remote, rugged and accessible by air charter, road or boat this wonderful park encompasses Lake Kariba’s most beautiful assets.The park is home to black rhinos and is commonly recognized as having the second largest concentration of lions in Africa after the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. The population of woodland birds , raptors and waterfowl to be found in the Matusadona National Park is staggering: there are more than 240 species. The matusadona shoreline on Lake Kariba invites water based activities, usually from game viewing boats or pontoons. Matusadona is most easily accessible from Kariba.
